Insteimed was incorporated in 2002, but the team behind it had already spent two decades working on marine electrical installations. This is where we come from.
Where we come from
A trade of our own since 2002
Insteimed was founded in 2002 in Paiporta, Valencia. Since its creation, it has built a dynamic, multidisciplinary and committed team, able to carry out electrical installation projects on vessels, yachts and across the industrial sector.

The founding team sets up Insteimed in Paiporta, Valencia.

Presence all over the world
Vessels, yachts and industrial plants across our three divisions, with our nine services, more than 200 clients and a presence in more than twenty markets.
Today
Around 30 people, one trade
Design office, switchboard workshop and installation crews working on vessels, yachts and industrial plant. Still based in Paiporta.

The team that calculates the project is the same one that manages it and installs it: our own design office, switchboard workshop and installation crews, with no intermediary between the calculation and commissioning.

In-house manufacturing of switchboards and electrical equipment
We design and build our switchboards under our own roof, with the same team that calculates the project and later installs it.
- Own switchboard manufacturing workshop.
- Type testing under IEC 61439-1 before delivery.
- Equipment and materials from the brands approved by each client and classification society.
