The company

Insteimed

Paiporta, Valencia, Spain · 2002

Insteimed was founded in 2002 by a team from Unión Naval de Levante and the wider Valencia shipbuilding sector. That background is why the company started working directly on board from day one, with no learning curve.

Today we are around thirty people across the design office, the workshop and the installation technicians. We are still in Paiporta, and we still deliver the complete installation: from calculations through to commissioning.

We designWe manageWe install

A single EPC contractor —Engineering, Procurement, Construction— for the whole electrical installation: engineering, equipment supply and manufacturing, assembly and commissioning. We do not subcontract the electrical scope of a project we are managing.

We design
Installation calculations, single-line diagrams and documentation for class. The drawings we hand over are the ones that get installed.
We manage
On-site management at the shipyard, coordinating with the other trades and with the surveyor. A single point of contact for the owner.
We install
Our own assembly and connection technicians, with switchboards built in house. Testing and commissioning through to handover.
