Cookie policy

This website does not set cookies by itself; the only possible exception is the YouTube video, if you choose to play it.

A cookie is a small file that a website stores in the visitor’s browser to remember information between visits: a preference, a signed-in session, or, in the case of analytics or advertising cookies, an identifier used to track activity.

This website does not set cookies by itself

insteimed.com does not set first-party or third-party cookies by itself. The only possible exception is the YouTube video, and only if the visitor chooses to play it. Specifically:

  • No analytics cookies. We don’t use Google Analytics or any equivalent service that relies on cookies.
  • No advertising or tracking cookies.
  • The YouTube video only loads when the visitor clicks play, from the youtube-nocookie.com domain (enhanced privacy mode). Until that click happens, no request is made to YouTube and nothing is stored. After the click, the player is served by YouTube (Google), which is independent of this site, and may store information in the browser; we neither receive nor use it. The notice appears next to the video, before the click.
  • Fonts are self-hosted on our own server, not on Google Fonts or any other external service.
  • The location map is a static image, not an interactive map embedded from Google Maps or any other provider.
  • The site does not use the browser’s localStorage or sessionStorage to store information.

That’s why this site doesn’t show a cookie banner: it’s not that consent isn’t requested, it’s that there is simply nothing to request it for.

If this were to change

If the site were ever to add a third-party cookie, for example when integrating a new service, this page will be updated with the details of that cookie (name, purpose, duration and provider), and the corresponding consent notice will be shown before it is set.
