Description
Insteimed repaired the fire damage on decks 5 and 4 of the Ciudad de Alcudia ferry, for shipping company Trasmed.
On deck 5, the scope included removing the damaged installation and equipment, developing new electrical drawings, cable installation, the fire detection system, talk-backs, the public address and general alarm system (PAGA), lighting, CCTV, and commissioning.
On deck 4, the scope was narrower: removing the damaged installation and equipment, new electrical drawings, cable installation, the fire detection system, and commissioning.
All new cabling was insulation-tested (Megger). The project was carried out in 2022.
