Description
Insteimed developed the SCADA and Alarm Monitoring System (AMS) for the VMG Sagunto shipyard, with a decentralised architecture of 3 distributed PLCs and 2 unified control centres, integrating over 2,500 signals in real time for the facility’s electrical supervision and safety systems.
The communications infrastructure relies on a fibre-optic network with guaranteed minimum latency, integrating both analogue and digital signals. The system also includes the management of perimeter security and intrusion systems, and the energy management and consumption control of the facility.
